New Construction Inspections

New construction inspections in Cibolo, San Antonio and South Texas

A new construction inspection checks a new home at the stages that matter, so anything missed is noted while the builder can still fix it.

What a new construction inspection covers

A brand-new home can still have problems: work that was rushed, skipped or covered up before anyone looked. Jeremy’s background is in construction project management and quality assurance, so he knows how a building is meant to come together and where to look.

The inspection can follow the build: while the walls are open, and again on the finished home before you close.

When to book one

  • Your home is being built and the walls are still open
  • Your builder has scheduled the final walk-through
  • The builder has finished the repairs from the last inspection

Inspected at the stages that matter

  1. Walls open

Framing, wiring, plumbing and ductwork, checked before insulation and drywall close them in.

    Pre-Drywall Inspections
  2. Before closing

The finished home, inspected before you close, so anything incomplete is noted while the builder can still address it.

  3. After repairs

A return visit to confirm the builder’s repairs were completed.

    Repair Verification Inspections

Questions about new construction inspections

Call (210) 378-2804 with anything else.

Can I have the house inspected at more than one stage?

Yes. A pre-drywall inspection while the walls are open and a new construction inspection before closing cover different things, so many owners book both.

What happens to what you find?

It goes in your report, written so you can hand it to your builder. A repair verification visit can confirm the items were fixed.
