Sewer Scope Inspections
Sewer scope inspections in Cibolo, San Antonio and South Texas
A sewer scope sends a camera through the sewer line, from the clean-out down to the city tap or the septic system, then back up toward the house.
What a sewer scope inspection covers
It checks for standing water, debris, broken pipes, roots, construction debris and anything else that could be causing backups, or could cause them later.
The sewer line runs underground, so a house can drain fine on the day you see it and still have a problem in the line. The camera shows what the eye cannot, and the findings go in your report.
When to book one
- You are buying a home, especially an older one
- There are trees near the sewer line
- Drains back up or run slowly

Questions about sewer scope inspections
Call (210) 378-2804 with anything else.
Why scope the sewer line if the house drains fine?
The line is underground. Roots, a break or a sag can be there long before a backup shows it, and they are much easier to deal with before you own the house.
Can I add a sewer scope to my home inspection?
Yes. It is often booked with a residential home inspection.
